Parks department seeking public input for new Master Plan

The Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department is working on a new five-year Master Plan and is seeking public input.

There will be a public meeting June 26 at the parks department’s Carl McNeely Civic Center, 945 S. Tompkins St., to allow residents to offer ideas for the future of Shelbyville’s parks.

The meeting will start with a short presentation at 6:30 p.m. followed by an open house style input session.
