Centra Members, Team Members and local community members came together this past holiday season to raise more than $2,700 to
support Shelbyville Santa Protectors.
These donations were provided through the Holiday Giving Program, which collects monetary donations for local non-profits who purchase gifts
for children in need during the holidays.
"I’m incredibly grateful for the generosity from our Members, Team Members and community members in support of our Holiday Giving Program," Centra President and CEO Rick Silvers said. "These donations not only bring joy to children in need, but also inspire hope and
kindness throughout our community. Thank you for helping to make this season brighter for so many!"
The donations from each community Centra serves support different organizations. This year’s program raised a total of $70,425.86 in donations to 16 organizations:
• Brown County Shop with a Cop - $1,650.86
• Columbus Firemen’s Cheer Fund - $5,129.60
• Columbus Shop with a Cop - $5,129.60
• Fraternal Order of Police Cops and Kids Jackson County - $10,687.87
• Good Samaritan Food Pantry - $5,104.29
• Holidays with Heroes - $1,026.71
• Johnson County Fraternal Order of Police Shop with a Cop - $2,817.49
• Julian Center - $1,000.06
• Salem Fraternal Order of Police Shop with a Cop - $2,000.04
• Salvation Army Madison - $2,578.09
• Salvation Army New Albany - $11,196.54
• Santa Protectors - $2,723.83
• Santa’s Heroes - $982.01
• Scott County Shop with the Sheriff - $10,054.63
• The Caring Center - $3,214.64
• Turning Point Holiday Store - $5,129.60
Centra Members and community supporters have helped more than 5,000 families over the past 12 years of the Holiday Giving Program.
