The Splash Pad at Shelbyville’s Blue River Memorial Park will remain open through Labor Day.
The Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department closed the Meridian Park Family Aquatic Center for the summer season Sunday but the Splash Pad will remain operational through Sept. 2.
Located at 725 Lee Boulevard in the City of Shelbyville’s largest park, the Splash Pad features water jets, sprayers and a dumping bucket “splash zone.”
Shade and picnic areas are available on a first come, first serve basis.
