The Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department is asking for assistance with a "Weed Wrangle" event Saturday at Blue River Memorial Park in Shelbyville.
Volunteers are wanted to help identify honeysuckle, an invasive bush, and help remove it from the park.
This is a family-friendly event scheduled to run from 1 to 3 p.m.
Participants should meet at the green bridge in the park near the cross country course.
