Mayor's office calls on community to shape future identity

The City of Shelbyville is seeking input from residents regarding a new rebranding initiative.

The goal is to create a refreshed and unified identity for the city that reflects the values, culture and vision of a vibrant community, according to a city media release.

“The heart of Shelbyville is its people. We want to hear from every corner of our county to ensure our new brand represents the true spirit of Shelbyville,” said Shelbyville Mayor Scott Furgeson of an online survey now available to provide input. “Your voice matters, and this survey is a key opportunity for you to influence how our city is perceived by residents, businesses and visitors.”

The rebranding survey covers various aspects of the city’s identity, including visual elements, messaging and overall perception. Feedback collected will guide the development of a brand that encapsulates Shelbyville’s unique characteristics and aspiration for the future.

The survey is open to all residents, business owners and stakeholders. It is designed to be quick and easy, taking only a few minutes to complete. Your input will directly impact the creation of a brand that will be used across city communications, marketing efforts and public projects.
