Barrett Alan Wooden (Bare-Bare), a son, nephew, and grandson. at age 9, passed away in his Shelbyville, IN home on June 11, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Barrett was a very special boy that brought Life and Love to everyone around him. He was especially loved by all his extended family that took great care of him at Especially Kidz, where he spent the last remaining years of his life. Over the years, Barrett came out of his shell with the loving people that surrounded him. Known as "Barry Alan", "B-easy", and "The Flash", he loved to listen to music, playing on his keyboard and using his tablet. But most importantly, Barrett loved to love and be loved. Limited he was but oh so unlimited with his love, happiness, and kindness.
Barrett is survived by his Mother: Ravyn McHugh (Alex), Father: Thadius A Wooden, Grandfather: Kenneth Johnathan Wooden, Sisters: Zelda McHugh, Lilly McHugh, Brother: Dezmond McHugh Aunt: Virginia Mallie Mowls (Harley), Uncle: Jeffery Herald, Great Aunts: Dorthea Wilcher (Danny), Lisa Miller, Wanda Roberts (Dusty), Great Uncles: Rubin Miller (Betsy) Robert Miller (Michelle) and a host of other family and friends.
Barrett was proceeded in death by his brothers Tuvyah and Colton Wooden, Grandmothers Teresa Louise Miller, Ruth Wooden, Great Grandmother Deborah K Miller, Great Grandfather: Rubin Miller, Great Uncle: Arlan Miller.
Burial will take place at Acton Cemetery.
