Mary Ann Williams, 79, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

She was born November 1, 1943, in Champaign, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph Stanley and Marjorie (Anderson) Milliner.  On October 2, 1965, she married her husband of 57 years, Ronald Gene Williams, and he survives.

In addition to Ronald, Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Mary Jo Williams and husband, Travis, of New Richmond, Ohio, and Cheri Ann Leggett and husband, Larry, of Crossville, Tennessee; sons, Robert Lloyd Williams and wife, Ricci Leigh, of Raleigh, North Carolina, and John David Williams and wife, Katie, of Amelia, Ohio; sister, Jo Ellen Edmonds and husband, James, of Paris, Illinois; grandchildren, Tristan, Mary Grace, Madison, Nicole, Caroline, Lauren, Taylor and Lucia; great-grandchildren, Arley and James; and many nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jerry Lee Milliner.

In 1961, she graduated from Villa Grove High School.  She became a registered nurse at the Lakeview Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, where she met her husband.

Mary Ann was a very active devout member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church.

She retired in 1995, from River Valley Living Center in Madison, with over 10 years of service.  Mary Ann was most recently the activity volunteer at Walker Place in Shelbyville.

Mary Ann enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crafts, tole painting, cross stitching and watching the Chicago Bears.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 pm, Saturday, September 16, 2023, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 4218 E. Michigan Road in Shelbyville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2 pm, Saturday, at the church, with Father Paul Landwerlen officiating.

Interment will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
