A strong fourth-quarter performance Saturday propelled Kaskaskia College to its first victory of the season.
Kaskaskia held a 36-33 advantage after three quarters then outscored Lewis & Clark Community College 20-8 in the fourth quarter to secure a 53-44 victory.
Brooklyn Bailey, a Triton Central graduate, was in the Kaskaskia College starting lineup and scored five points and added one rebound and one block to her stat line.
Bailey is the team’s second-leading scorer this season at 10.2 ppg and third-leading rebounder (5 rpg).
The win improved Kaskaskia to 1-12 this season. The Blue Angels will seek their second win in a row Wednesday hosting John Wood Community College.

Olivia Faust
The Triton Central graduate finished with 10 points, three rebounds and one assist Saturday for Marian University in a 76-58 victory over Huntington University.
The Knights are 12-3 this season.
Kyle Crim
The Morristown graduate had one assist and one steal Saturday in Hanover’s 77-69 loss at Bluffton University.
The Panthers’ record evened out at 6-6.
Drake Moore
The Morristown graduate finished with 12 points, four rebounds, one assist and two steals Saturday in IU Kokomo’s 77-60 win over Oakland City.
The Cougars improved to 10-4.
Tenleigh Phelps and Lizzie Graham
IU South Bend opened the 2025 portion of its schedule Saturday with a 103-58 win over Lawrence Tech (Michigan).
Phelps, a Triton Central graduate, notched her fourth double-double of the season with a 27-point, 10-rebound performance. She also had six assists and four steals.
Graham, also a Triton Central graduate, had three points, one rebound and one assist.
The Titans improved to 11-2.
Bella Larrison
The Waldron graduate had four points and five rebounds Saturday in Anderson University’s 62-47 loss at Transylvania.
The Ravens dropped below .500 at 5-6.
Riley Stephens
West Florida secured its fifth-straight victory Saturday, 72-65 in overtime at Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss.
Stephens, a Triton Central graduate, had seven points and one rebound in the win that improved the Argos to 10-3.
On Thursday, Stephens scored a team-high 13 points and added five rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in West Florida’s 59-56 win at Delta State in Cleveland, Miss.
