Anderson University’s women’s basketball team collected a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference win Wednesday over Bluffton, 76-66.
Bella Larrison, a Waldron graduate, finished with 12 points, six rebounds, one assist and two steals for the Ravens.
On Saturday, Mount St. Joseph slipped past Anderson, 55-52. Larrison finished with six points, eight rebounds, one steal and two blocks in the loss.
The Ravens are 6-7 this season and 3-4 in the HCAC standings.
Here is a look at other Shelby County graduates competing at the collegiate level:
Rylie Stephens
The Triton Central graduate scored 30 points in West Florida’s 86-69 loss Saturday to No. 12 Union (Tenn.) that snapped the Argos six-game win streak.
Stephens also had six rebounds, two assists, four steals and one block in the battle of the Gulf South Conference’s top two teams.
Union improved to 14-2 overall and 9-0 against conference foes. West Florida dropped to 11-4 (7-2).
On Thursday, West Florida defeated Christian Brothers, 81-58. Stephens finished with 16 points, eight rebounds, one assist and one steal.
Tenleigh Phelps and Lizzie Graham
IU South Bend collected two wins last week.
On Wednesday, the Titans defeated St. Xavier (Ill.), 80-67. Phelps, a Triton Central graduate, had 26 points, five rebounds, six assists and one steal. Graham, another Triton Central graduate, was credited with one rebound.
IU South Bend topped Saint Ambrose University (Iowa) Saturday, 65-62. Phelps had 13 points and seven rebounds. Graham finished with one steal and one rebound.
The Titans are 13-2 overall and 6-2 in conference contests.
Drake Moore
The Morristown graduate finished with nine points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block Saturday in IU Kokomo’s 109-68 win over IU Columbus.
On Wednesday, IU Kokomo defeated Brescia University, 96-71. Moore had eight points, six rebounds, three assists and one steal.
The Cougars have won seven straight to improve to 12-4 overall and 3-1 in the River States Conference.
Kyle Crim
The Morristown graduate collected nine points, two assists and one block Wednesday in Hanover’s 73-58 loss at Transylvania University.
Hanover rebounded Saturday to defeat Earlham College, 78-59. Crim had one rebound and one assist to help the Panthers improve to 7-7 (3-4 HCAC).
Olivia Faust
The Triton Central graduate had three points, one assist and one steal Saturday for Marian University in a 63-47 loss to No. 11 St. Francis (Ind.).
The loss dropped the Knights to 13-4 (6-1 Crossroads League).
On Wednesday, Marian routed Bethel University, 76-35. Faust finished with six points, three rebounds and one assist.
Brooklyn Bailey
The Triton Central graduate had six points, five rebounds and one steal Saturday in Kaskaskia College’s 89-50 loss at Illinois Central College in Peoria.
On Wednesday, John Wood Community College defeated Kaskaskia, 83-51. Bailey had two points, four rebounds and one steal.
Kaskaskia is 1-14 this season.
