Indiana University East women's soccer team went 2-0 last week with wins at Brescia and IU Columbus.
On Thursday at Kamuf Park in Owensboro, Kentucky, IU East produced a 2-0 shutout. Shelbyville graduate Ellie Simpson was in the starting lineup for IU East and registered a shot on goal in 90 minutes of action.
IU East then defeated IU Columbus Saturday, 3-0, to improve to 3-7-3 this season and 3-1-1 in the River States Conference standings.

Lucas Kleeman
The Triton Central graduate was credited with three tackles Saturday for Anderson University in a 49-0 loss to Mount St. Joseph.
The Ravens dropped to 1-5 this season and 0-2 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference standings.
Oliver Gearlds
The Triton Central graduate finished tied for 28th place in the Egypt Valley Championship event in Ada, Michigan.
At the Egypt Valley Country Club, Gearlds, playing for IU Kokomo, carded rounds of 81, 91 on Oct. 7 and 78 on Oct. 8 for a three-round total of 250 (+34).
IU Kokomo placed sixth in the team standings.
Julia Sanders
The Triton Central graduate had one assist and four digs Saturday for IU Kokomo volleyball in a 25-27, 25-12, 25-16, 25-18 win over Shawnee State University (Ohio).
The win improved the Cougars to 21-4 (8-0 River States Conference).
On Friday, IU Kokomo defeated Alice Lloyd College (Ky.), 25-11, 25-11, 25-17. Sanders finished with two assists, one service ace and eight digs.
The Cougars opened the week with a 25-21, 25-23, 25-20 victory over IU East. Sanders had one kill, one assist and five digs.
Maggie Schweitzer
The Triton Central graduate notched one kill, 13 assists, two aces and nine digs for Hanover volleyball in a 25-21, 25-20, 21-25, 25-12 win Saturday over Berea College (Ky.).
The Panthers improved to 16-4 (1-1 HCAC).
Brooklyn Schiffli
The Triton Central graduate racked up 59 digs over four matches for Jacksonville State.
On Oct. 8, Kennesaw State swept Jacksonville State, 28-26, 25-19, 25-20. Schiffli finished with three assists and eight digs.
On Wednesday, Jacksonville State won the first two sets in the rematch with Kennesaw State before falling, 20-25, 15-25, 26-24, 26-24, 15-8. Schiffli had two kills, three assists, two aces and 20 digs.
The Gamecocks traveled to Middle Tennessee State for a two-match tilt beginning Saturday. The hosts took the first match, 26-28, 25-17, 28-26, 25-22. Schiffli had 17 digs to go with two assists and three aces.
Middle Tennessee State then swept Jacksonville State Sunday, 25-11, 25-11, 25-17. Schiffli collected 15 digs and two aces.
