Rylie Stephens' first appearance in a University of West Florida jersey proved memorable.
The Triton Central graduate and graduate student transfer from Samford made her West Florida debut Wednesday in an exhibition game against Florida State University.
Stephens made 8 of 19 field goals attempts and all nine of her free throws to finish with 26 points in 26 minutes of playing time. She also had seven rebounds and one steal in a 93-70 loss to the Seminoles.

Tenleigh Phelps
The Triton Central graduate scored a game-high 29 points and collected nine rebounds, two assists and two steals in Indiana University South Bend’s 67-62 season-opening win Saturday over Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio).
Drake Moore
The Morristown graduate scored eight points and added one rebound, one assist and one steal Saturday in Indiana University Kokomo’s 78-76 win over Governors State University.
On Friday, Moore finished with 12 points, one rebound and one assist in an 87-64 loss to William Penn University.
Cyanne St. Bernard
The Shelbyville graduate scored the first goal for Indiana University Columbus Thursday in a 3-2 loss to IU Kokomo.
Bernard scored in the 37th minute off an assist from Lily Campbell.
Bernard had four shots on goal in the season finale that left IU Columbus at 2-12-1 for the season.
Aidan Wasson
The Triton Central graduate was credited with a tackle for loss Saturday in the University of Indianapolis’ 58-3 victory over Southwest Baptist.
The No. 9-ranked Greyhounds are 8-1 this season.
Brayden Wilkins
The Triton Central graduate had a 33-yard kickoff return and was credited with a tackle Saturday in Franklin College’s 35-14 win over Anderson.
Franklin is 3-5 this season and 2-2 against Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponents.
Brooklyn Schiffli
The Triton Central graduate had one kill, six assists and 10 digs Saturday in Jacksonville State’s 21-25, 25-17, 25-16, 27-25 win over Florida International University.
On Friday, FIU defeated the Gamecocks, 26-24, 26-24, 25-18. Schiffli had two assists and 12 digs.
Jacksonville State is 8-19 (1-13 Conference USA).
Maggie Schweitzer
The Triton Central graduate finished with one kill, three service aces, 23 assists and 14 digs Saturday in Hanover’s 25-23, 24-26, 25-20, 25-23 win at Anderson. The win was the 20th of the season for the Panthers (20-6, 4-3, HCAC).
On Wednesday, Mount St. Joseph defeated Hanover, 23-25, 25-13, 25-17, 21-25, 16-14. Schweitzer had 23 assists and 12 digs.
Julia Sanders
The Triton Central graduate had one assist and a team-high 13 digs Saturday in No. 11 IU Kokomo’s 25-17, 25-15, 25-19 win over Oakland City. The win was the 20th straight for the Cougars (27-4, 14-0 RSC).
On Friday, IU Kokomo defeated Brescia University, 25-19, 25-18, 25-14. Sanders had one assist and five digs.
Michael Fox
The Shelbyville graduate placed 26th overall Saturday for Manchester University at the HCAC Cross Country Championships.
Fox completed the 8-kilometer course at the Blue River Cross Country Course in 27 minutes, 16 seconds.
Tristin Maloney
The Shelbyville graduate finished 125th (40:39) overall for Franklin College Saturday at the HCAC Championships held in Shelbyville at Blue River Memorial Park.
