In just her second collegiate contest, Triton Central graduate Vivian Blye collected her first goal Thursday in Huntington University's 4-0 win over Freed-Hardeman (Tennessee).
Blye’s goal came with less than three minutes remaining in the match and came as a result of hustling to a ball in the box that eluded a defender and the Freed-Hardeman goalkeeper. Blye delivered a shot into the net to cap off the Foresters’ first victory of the season.
Huntington opened the 2024 season on Aug. 20 with a 2-1 loss to St. Mary-of-the-Woods. Blye made her collegiate debut off the bench, logging seven minutes of game action. She played 18 minutes Thursday in the win.
