Brody Runnebohm got Shelbyville off to a fast start Saturday night at Greensburg and the Golden Bears cruised to their 10th win of the season, 77-56.
Runnebohm had 12 first-quarter points to match Greensburg and Shelbyville quickly built a 24-12 advantage.
Damon Badgley and Caden Claxton combined to score 15 points in the second quarter to extend the lead to 44-17.
Mar Nicholson scored six of his team-high 16 points in the third quarter and Cole Schene and Gavin Reed sank threes in the fourth to finish off the win.
Claxton matched Nicholson with 16 points. Badgley finished with 13 and Runnebohm had 12. Reed and Schene each ended with seven and Kenny Owens had six.
Jacoby Miller led Greensburg (4-6) with 16 points. Nine different Pirates scored in the loss.
Shelbyville (10-3) hosts Columbus East (9-1) Tuesday at William L. Garrett Gymnasium. The Olympians, led by head coach Perry Nash, have won four straight and their only loss is to city-rival Columbus North.

At Yorktown, Shelbyville lost control of the Hoosier Heritage Conference game in the third quarter and, eventually, lost control of its advantage in the HHC standings.
The Tigers led 26-23 at halftime then outscored the visiting Golden Bears 23-4 in the third quarter to roll to their second conference win of the season.
Lilly Sylvester, Alexis Fields and Rylie Johnson combined to score 19 points in the game-changing quarter and all three finished in double digits.
Sylvester had a game-high 19 points and eight rebounds for Yorktown (11-5, 2-2 HHC). Fields followed with 16 and five rebounds. Johnson had 13 and a team-high nine rebounds and three assists.
Hannah Baker topped Shelbyville (9-8, 3-1 HHC) with 13 points. Savannah Collins finished with nine and Maddy Jones had eight.
The loss dropped the Golden Bears out of the top spot in the HHC standings.
Pendleton Heights now leads at 12-6 (4-1 HHC). Shelbyville and Mt. Vernon (12-4, 2-1 HHC) follow as the only other teams with less than two conference losses.
The Marauders’ lone loss came to Pendleton Heights.
Shelbyville still controls its destiny with HHC games ahead against Mt. Vernon (Jan. 18) and Pendleton Heights (Jan. 28).
