
Hauser was the dominant team in the Mid-Hoosier Conference this season and five Jets have been honored with All-MHC honors.
Collin Buck (14.5 ppg, 5.6 rpg), Ledger Gelfius (13.1 ppg, 3.1 rpg), Stryker Gill (8.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 7.7 apg), Taeshawn Tungate (11.2 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.6 apg) and Gavin Keller (10.3 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 3 apg) lead the 12-player all-conference squad.
The three Shelby County schools in the MHC each had one selection. Morristown’s Kellen Crim (16 ppg, 3 rpg, 3.5 apg), Southwestern’s Ben Kahler (21.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg), and Waldron’s Lucas Shaw (16.4 ppg, 5.5 rpg) are all headed to the Edinburgh Sectional this week.
Also chosen All-MHC were North Decatur’s Brady Mayer (12.4 ppg, 5.4 rpg) and Owen Rennekamp (8.7 ppg, 3 rpg, 5 apg), Edinburgh’s Connor Ramey, a recent member of the 1,000-point club, and South Decatur’s Drake Scaggs (12.7 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 6.2 apg).
Eight more players, including two more Jets, were selected MHC Honorable Mention.
Hauser’s Kameron Blair and Alex Cord were honored as well as South Decatur’s Lucas Ballard, Southwestern’s Mitchell Clements, Edinburgh’s Rylan Londeree and Avynn Whitaker, North Decatur’s Logan O’Dell and Waldron’s Eli Stewart.
Hauser (20-3) won the MHC championship with a 6-0 record.
Edinburgh (11-12, 4-2) and North Decatur (11-13, 4-2) were runner-up ahead of Waldron (11-11, 3-3), Southwestern (10-13, 3-3), Morristown (10-12, 1-5) and South Decatur (5-18, 0-6).
