Class 2A, No. 2 Triton Central scored seven runs over the final two innings Monday to collect a 12-1 win at Bethesda Christian in its final game of the regular season.
Weston Smith and Bryce Haney each delivered home runs and combined to drive in eight runs. Mathew Shircliff had two hits and drove in two runs.
Hayden May pitched four innings and allowed one hit and one run to earn the victory. Janssen Capps, Blaine Raider and Kaleb Murphy each pitched a scoreless inning of relief.
Triton Central improved to 22-3. Bethesda Christian fell to 10-12.

Baseball
Southwestern 10, Madison Shawe 8
At Madison Shawe, the visiting Spartans scored three runs in the top of the fifth inning then held off the Hilltoppers to score a win in their regular-season finale.
Kaden Barlow had two hits and drove in three runs. Landon Drake, James Oliver and Chris Cecil each had two hits to push Southwestern’s record to 4-17.
Waldron 9, Liberty Christian 6
At Liberty Christian, the visiting Mohawks scored in every inning to close out the regular-season schedule at 15-8.
Hunter Dodson earned the win in relief of starting pitcher Jordan Bennett. Jacob Bennett secured the final three outs and earned the save for Waldron, now ranked No. 11 in Class A in this week’s State Coaches Poll.
Jacob Lindsey had three hits and scored three runs. Troy Atwood had two hits and scored three runs.
Boys golf
Pike 170, Triton Central 202
At Saddlebrook Golf Course, Chase Chandler led Triton Central with the second best overall score of 38.
Also competing for Triton Central were Colton Ayres (43), Derreck Uhls (44) and Garrett Eberhardt (45).
Softball
North Decatur Sectional
Jac-Cen-Del 13, Waldron 4
Breanna Barton gave Waldron a 3-2 lead in the top of the third inning but the Eagles scored in every inning to secure a sectional-opening victory.
Barton finished with two hits and three runs batted in. Alyssa Benson had two hits and scored two runs while Audrey Hogg had two hits for Waldron, who finished the season 5-11.
With the win, Jac-Cen-Del improved to 7-14 and advanced to face Oldenburg Academy (2-14) today in the Sectional 60 semifinal round.
Indianapolis Lutheran Sectional
Edinburgh 13, Morristown 3
Edinburgh scored three runs in the top of the first inning and never trailed to eliminate Morristown from the Sectional 59 tournament.
Kyah Streeval had three doubles and drove in six runs for the Lancers (9-11), who earned their third victory of the season over the Yellow Jackets (8-11).
Kenna Streeval struck out 11 to earn the win in the pitcher’s circle.
Nevaeh Cox and Alexia Rogers each had three hits for Morristown.
