Morristown improved to 6-1 against potential Sectional 59 opponents Monday with a 56-35 win over Knightstown.
Emma Nelson hit five three-pointers and scored a team-high 19 points.
Nevaeh Sanders finished with 18 points, four rebounds, two assists and four steals. Jayla Keithley produced seven points, five rebounds and three assists.
The Yellow Jackets improved to 13-7 with their fifth-straight win and 11th in their last 12 games. They now have wins against every potential sectional opponent except one – Class A, No. 13 Tri (15-7).
Morristown opens Class A, Sectional 59 Tuesday at Southwestern against Tri, who defeated Morristown, 71-36, on Nov. 12.
Knightstown dropped to 11-9 and is one of five teams in Sectional 59 with double-digit wins.
Morristown ends it regular-season schedule Thursday at Indianapolis Lutheran (6-13).

Liberty Christian 61, Southwestern 39
At Liberty Christian, freshman Serenity Conyers scored a game-high 33 points to lead the Lions to the win. Sophomore Heaven Watson finished with 17 points.
Liberty Christian (5-6) led 28-23 at halftime then scored 20 points in the third quarter to get separation from the Spartans.
Tanna Tatlock led Southwestern (3-18) with 21 points. Hayden Ramey hit a pair of 3s on the way to nine points.
The Spartans are back in action tonight at Brown County (1-15).
