Alivia Lee racked up 18 kills to lead Shelbyville to a 25-27, 25-20, 25-21, 25-15 win over Rushville Thursday at the Roncalli Sectional.
Lyla Wilson added nine kills and three service aces and Ashlyn Turner and Reese Fortune combined for 11 more kills to improve the Golden Bears to 7-24 this season.
Kali Laycock led the defensive effort with 30 digs. Turner added 13 digs and Sydney Haehl and Addison Hartman each had 12 digs.
Addy Marshall had a team-high 25 assists. Hartman collected 13 assists.
With the win, Shelbyville will face Class 3A, No. 1 Roncalli (29-0), a 25-3, 25-11, 25-6 winner Thursday over Beech Grove, Saturday morning in the second semifinal contest.
The first semifinal pits New Palestine (28-4) against Indian Creek (18-4).

Scecina Sectional
Heritage Christian def. Triton Central, 25-15, 25-19, 20-25, 18-25, 15-13
The Tigers lost the first two sets but rallied to the final set before falling to the Eagles (11-14).
Triton Central closed out its season at 17-12.
North Decatur Sectional
North Decatur def. Waldron, 25-10, 25-19, 25-3
Alivia Fischer topped the Mohawks with four kills. Lilli Lozier had three kills and five digs.
Jackie Corlett had a team-high six digs.
The Mohawks finished the season at 4-24.
North Decatur improved to 16-11.
South Decatur def. Southwestern, 25-15, 25-16, 25-13
Tanna Tatlock led the Spartans with nine kills, two aces and 12 digs. Ruby Garner added seven kills and 13 digs.
Southwestern finished 15-16.
