Triton Central’s No. 1 doubles pairing of Connor Evans and Max Crouse pulled out a 7-6 (2), 7-5 win over Myles Wennen and Luke Fletcher Monday to lead the Tigers to a 3-2 victory over Eastern Hancock.
Triton Central (8-1) also won the top two singles matches. Tucker Hutchinson defeated Luke Zielinga, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles. Janssen Capps finished off Luke Schilling, 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 singles.
At No. 3 singles, Eastern Hancock’s Josiah Swauger topped Bradyn Robinson, 6-3, 6-1.
The No. 2 doubles match went three sets with Bo Dixon and Jalen Hildebrand collecting a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory over Brayden Hoover and Caleb McGuire.
Junior varsity match winners for Triton Central were Wyatt Fisher, Graham Gast and the doubles pairing of Fisher and Drayton Kermode.

Southwestern 228, Indianapolis Tech Inc.
At Coffin Golf Club, Southwestern’s Aurora Belton led all golfers with a round of 50 to earn the medalist honor.
Also competing for Southwestern were Sydney Griffin (53), Taryn Hoeing (58), Emma Chandler (67) and Olivia Lahey (70).
Valerie Contreras led Tech, who had just two golfers, with a 67.
Boys soccer
Southwestern 1, Greensburg 0
At Greensburg, Trent Todd scored the only goal just 13 minutes into the match to improve Class A, No. 9 Southwestern to 7-1 this season.
Michael Clements was credited with 14 saves in goal for the Spartans.
Greensburg dropped to 3-2.
Triton Central 3, Rushville 0
At Rushville, the visiting Tigers matched their season-high goal total for a match to secure their first victory of the season.
The Tigers improved to 1-6-1. The Lions lost their third-straight match to fall to 1-6-1z
Boys tennis
Waldron 5, Southwestern 0
At Southwestern, the visiting Mohawks lost eight games total while sweeping the Spartans.
At No. 1 singles, Charlie Fischer defeated Kyle Beck, 6-0, 6-2.
Jack Fischer played No. 2 singles for Waldron and collected the 50th win of his career with a 6-0, 6-0 win over James Oliver.
Matthew Thomas stepped in at No. 3 singles and bested Caleb McDonald, 6-0, 6-2.
At No. 1 doubles, Lucas Shaw and Cash Young produced a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Jackson Burcham and Chris Cecil.
And Jackson Kuhn and Lincoln Fischer defeated Clayton Randolph and David Coulston at No. 2 doubles, 6-0, 6-2.
Winners in JV matches were Waldron’s Connor Ping and Ollie Taylor and Southwestern’s Kentley Gosser.
Volleyball
Columbus East def. Shelbyville, 25-21, 25-11, 25-21
At Columbus East, Lilah Klei had 10 kills and five service aces to bring an end to Shelbyville’s two-match winning streak.
Lauren Smith finished with 17 digs and Krea Martin had 29 assists for the Olympians (3-11).
Ashlyn Turner topped the Golden Bears (2-7) with six kills. Lyla Wilson finished with five kills.
Sydney Haehl collected 14 digs while Addison Hartman had 11 digs and 11 assists.
Triton Central def. Morristown, 25-21, 25-16, 25-17
At Morristown, the visiting Tigers improved to 8-4. Morristown dropped to 4-8.
