Ray Wagner was fouled with no time left on the clock setting up a fantastic finish for the Mohawks.
Trailing at Jac-Cen-Del, 40-39, Wagner stepped to the free-throw line all alone. The senior made both free throws to give the Mohawks a 41-40 victory Saturday night.
Ethan Moody and Lucas Shaw led Waldron (7-6) with nine points apiece. Parker Douglas and Eli Stewart each scored eight and Wagner finished with seven to get the Mohawks their fourth win in their last five games.
Darian Grieshop led Jac-Cen-Del (4-7) with 12 points.
Waldron started the weekend with a 50-20 victory Friday over Eminence.
Shaw finished with a game-high 12 points. Moody had nine in a game where eight different Mohawks scored.
Johnathan Myers topped Eminence (4-13) with eight points.
Waldron hosts Hauser (9-2, 3-0 Mid-Hoosier Conference) Friday.

Southwestern 67, Brown County 47 (Fri.)
Southwestern senior Ben Kahler scored a combined 69 points to net the Spartans their second two-game win streak of the season.
On Saturday against South Decatur, Kahler finished with 30 points in a game where only three Spartans scored. He made 17 of 21 free-throw attempts.
Mitchell Clements had 21 points and Jace Patterson had 16.
Lucas Ballard led the Cougars (3-9, 0-2 MHC) with 17 points.
On Friday, Kahler made 18 of 19 free throws to score a game-high 39 points. Patterson and Clements each scored 11.
Quentin Bell scored a team-high 15 points for Brown County (3-7).
Southwestern (4-7, 1-0 MHC) goes for its first three-game win streak this season Friday in a rematch with Edinburgh. The Lancers defeated the Spartans 45-37 in the season opener for both teams on Nov. 26.

Morristown led 40-38 after three quarters Saturday at Traders Points then had five different Yellow Jackets score in the final quarter to complete the weekend sweep.
Kellen Crim scored a game-high 21 points. Brayden Keithley followed with 11 and Owen Rinzel and Dalton McMichael each had seven.
Quentin Bell led Traders Point (4-8) with 11 points.
On Friday, Morristown built a 29-12 halftime lead over Knightstown and rolled to a 15-point victory.
Colin Kieninger scored 16 points to lead the Yellow Jackets. Crim finished with 15 and Keithley had 14.
Brant Ellis scored a team-high 16 points for Knightstown (2-10).
Morristown (7-6, 0-2 MHC) hosts North Decatur (5-9, 2-1 MHC) Friday.

Triton Central 54, Heritage Christian 40 (Fri.)
Triton Central outscored Milan 18-5 in the third quarter and held off the Indians from there to secure their fourth-straight win.
Eli Sego led the Tigers with 15 points. Cael Butler finished with 12. The duo combined to score 12 points in the third quarter.
Ethan Clark led Milan (5-5) with 10 points.
On Friday, the Tigers secured their first win against a potential sectional opponent in Heritage Christian.
Sego scored a game-high 19 points. Max Crouse had 10 points and Grant Long finished with nine.
Caleb Flint led the Eagles (5-7) with 10 points.
Triton Central (9-5, 0-0 ICC) kicks off its final run in the Indiana Crossroads Conference Saturday at Indianapolis Lutheran (3-6, 1-1 ICC).

Morristown 53, Beech Grove 47
At Morristown Thursday, Nevaeh Sanders scored 20 points and Danika Rutledge had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Yellow Jackets to their eighth win in their last nine games.
The win improved head coach Rachel Kleine to 99-77 in her eighth season at Morristown. The Yellow Jackets will attempt to get their coach a milestone win Tuesday at home against Greenwood Christian (4-15).
Mylee Boling had an outstanding performance for Beech Grove (9-9), scoring a game-high 27 points and pulling down 18 rebounds.
North Decatur 67. Southwestern 27
At Southwestern Thursday, 10 different Chargers scored in the win led by Madi Allen’s 21 points.
The Chargers improved to 12-6 (3-1 MHC).
Tanna Tatlock led Southwestern with 11 points.
The Spartans (2-16) host Indianapolis Herron (13-5) Tuesday.
Eastern Hancock 73, Waldron 31
At Waldron, McKenzie Koch and Bella Sotelo combined to score 56 points to improve the Class 2A, No. 11 Royals to 17-2.
Koch finished with 32 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Sotelo had 24 points and five steals.
Waldron dropped to 6-13. The Mohawks host New Palestine (8-8) Thursday.
