With a 5-0 win Tuesday over Hauser, Waldron tennis captured the Mid-Hoosier Conference title.
At No. 1 singles, Charlie Fischer defeated Hunter Pappano, 6-1, 6-1.
Jack Fischer battled and prevailed over Kameron Blair at No. 2 singles, 7-5, 7-5.
Connor Ping stepped into the No. 3 singles position due to an injury and topped Colten Hatton, 6-1, 6-1.
At No. 1 doubles, Lucas Shaw and Cash Young improved to 6-0 this season with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Jentzen Bechtel and Joel Bechtel.
Jackson Kuhn and Matthew Thomas also won in straight sets at No. 2 doubles, 6-3, 7-5 over Jayden Blair and R.J. Foster.
Waldron improved to 9-4 this season.

Franklin 181, Shelbyville 199
At Blue Bear Golf Course on Senior Night, Sophia Asher produced a career-best round but it was not enough to keep the Grizzly Cubs from taking the victory.
Franklin’s Mia Hart was the medalist with a 43. Cassidy Rucker followed with a 45.
Emmie Higgins led the Golden Bears with a 47 with Asher one shot back at 48. Also playing for Shelbyville were Riley Everette (50), Maddy Jones (54) and Kylie Stader (60).
Boys soccer
Mt. Vernon 4, Shelbyville 0
At Shelbyville, three different Marauders scored and goalkeeper Will Keppler was credited with seven saves to preserve the Hoosier Heritage Conference shutout victory.
Drew Lynch, Colby Smith and Carson O’Farrell scored for Mt. Vernon (7-2-1, 6-0 HHC) to drop Shelbyville to 5-6 (2-2 HHC).
Morristown 2, Southwestern 1
At Southwestern, the visiting Yellow Jackets avenged an earlier 2-1 loss to the Spartans this season with first-half goals from Armaan Singh and Cameron Colglazier.
Class A, No. 7 Southwestern’s lone goal came from Rafael Trawka in the second half.
Boys tennis
Triton Central 5, Edinburgh 0
At Edinburgh, the visiting Tigers (13-1) lost just four games in sweeping the Lancers.
At No. 1 singles, Tucker Hutchinson defeated Bailey Totten, 6-0, 6-1.
Connor Evans and Max Crouse cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win over Rylan Londeree and Braylon Lenkner at No. 1 doubles.
Volleyball
Greensburg def. Shelbyville, 25-19, 25-19, 25-10
At Garrett Gymnasium on Senior Night, Alivia Lee had a team-high 13 kills for Shelbyville but the Pirates proved too tough to overcome.
Leah West led Greensburg (12-4) with 11 kills. Claire Larrison finished with eight kills. Mya Comer collected 24 assists and four service aces.
Kali Laycock led the Golden Bears (4-12) with 22 digs. Addison Hartman finished with 11 assists.
Eastern Hancock def. Southwestern, 25-17, 25-20, 25-13
At Southwestern, Ruby Garner and Tanna Tatlock each had six kills in the Spartans’ loss.
Tatlock also had a team-high 15 digs for Southwestern (11-9).
