Waldron athletes won four of the five individual titles Saturday at the Mid-Hoosier Conference Girls Tennis Tournament.
The Mohawks swept through all three singles brackets and won the No. 2 doubles bracket as well.
At No. 1 singles, Waldron’s Emerson Lindsey defeated Southwestern’s Ella Rice in the semifinal round, 6-0, 7-5, then bested Hauser’s Bella Kilps, 7-6 (4), 6-1 in the championship.
Rice advanced to the semifinals with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Morristown’s Remi Spicklemire.
Emily Tyree won two matches at No. 2 singles to earn the MHC title. Tyree opened with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Edinburgh’s Izzy Richardson then defeated Southwestern’s Aurora Belton in the championship, 6-1, 6-4.
Richardson opened the No. 2 singles bracket with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Morristown’s Bri Flores.
Belton reached the championship match with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Hauser’s Lydia Jordan.
Riley Thurston lost just four games combined in two wins at No. 3 singles. Thurston defeated Hauser’s Kayden Miller, 6-1, 6-0 in the semifinals. She then topped Edinburgh’s Zoey Sida in the championship, 6-2, 6-1.
Miller advanced to the semifinals with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Morristown’s Maile Vitz. Sida reached the championship with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Southwestern’s Kelsey Stringer.
At No. 2 doubles, Waldron’s Jackie Corlette and Kathryn Ross defeated Edinburgh’s Bella Turner and Gracie Lawson, 6-0, 6-2 in the semifinal round.
In the championship, the Mohawks defeated Hauser’s Kaycee Ridgeway and Abby Manley, 6-2, 6-0.
Turner and Wilson reached the semifinal round with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Morristown’s Emma Wagoner and Jorja Geise.
Ridgeway and Manley advanced to the championship with a 7-5, 7-5 victory over Southwestern’s Lily DeSpain and Kate Coffman.
Hauser’s Addyson Barriger and Mattie Foster captured the No. 1 singles title with a 6-4, 3-6, 11-9 win over Waldron’s Riley Price and Audrey Berauer.
In the opening match at No. 1 doubles, Edinburgh’s Mia Dodson and Lily Turner eliminated Morristown’s Katie Theobald and Addie Osborne, 6-3, 6-0.
Price and Berauer then defeated Dodson and Turner, 6-3, 6-3.
Barriger and Foster advanced out of the semifinal round with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Southwestern’s Tanna Tatlock and Tori Burkhart.
