Steering committee identifies key goals of DORA
A final ordinance to establish a downtown Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area, or DORA, in Rochester has been shared with the city council for review. First and second readings are to occur at the council's next meeting, 6 p.m. Nov. 26 at Rochester City Hall, with a third reading and vote set for the council's meeting in December.

INDOT hosts public meeting on ProPEL US 31 study
Several members from the ProPEL study team, INDOT and Federal Highway Administration met with curious community members Monday evening in the Rochester High School cafeteria for a study session on the project and potential ideas of infrastructure upgrades and improvements on U.S. 31.

Skiles family receives keys to their new home
Fulton County Habitat for Humanity presented keys to the Skiles family during a dedication ceremony Friday for its 18th home build. The organization's next two partner families joined in on the celebration.
