Chili Cook-Off and Red Hot Car Show sets new record

The Fulton County Chamber of Commerce reports that a record-breaking 730 cars rolled into downtown Rochester on Saturday for the Red Hot Car Show and accompanying Chili Cook-Off.

Rochester's Red Hot Car Show and accompanying Chili Cook-Off saw record breaking numbers on Saturday.

The Fulton County Chamber of Commerce reports that it almost ran out of space for all the classic and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles rolling into downtown for the annual event. With an hour left of registration, county officials allowed for use of the courthouse lawn to accommodate those still arriving.

The final car count was 730, according to the chamber. It thanks everyone who participated for their patience and understanding, as this was its first year taking on the car show portion of the event.
